After starting kmail, selecting my inbox (that holds 14000 messages) takes 16
seconds until the list is usable (i.e. all messages have been "added" and
"sorted"). This took no noticeable time in kmail1
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
* Open kmail
* Select a folder with 14000 messages
* Start timer
* Wait
* Stop timer
In case it matters i'm the message list settings i'm using classic, plain date
view, least recent on the top, sorted by date
Expected Results:
Folders should be instantly populated like they were in kmail1
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.39-ARCH
