More than half a year, and I'm still the only one that have experienced this? I
am currently on KDE 4.8.3 and the problem is still very much present. It

After a fresh install (I've moved back to Chakra now which has matured

Sudden idea: Could it be that KMail check if the wallet is open when you start
writing a new message, which would trigger this bug if the wallet is closed
