There isn't an option under Advanced to do anything with the waste bin (trash)
folder. This is a POP account.

I did not use a migrator. I tried, but it did work. Then i deleted all the
akonadi etc configs and it created a new folder. I think at that point the
trash was already missing.

The Local Folder in kmail is set to:
/home/gaelle/.local/share/local-mail
here the content of that folder:
gaelle@gaelle:~/.local/share/local-mail$ ls -la
total 20

Great.. now the trash folder magically appeared, after over an week not beeing
here.
Well there is one thing i did, i disabled nepomuk system wide. Does kontact
work better
