Bug ID: 310119 Severity: normal Version: unspecified Priority: NOR Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Summary: Problem with Namespace Prefix in Newest Dovecot Classification: Unclassified OS: Linux Reporter: d_ba...@012.net.il Hardware: Debian unstable Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: general Product: kmail2 Every Dovecot major upgrade is a big problem. Now requires namespace. If the prefix is left blank for a simple default namespace, the server does not work complaining up duplicate empty prefix. But that's their bug. So I enter a prefix. Prefixes are used to navigate namespace trees. Kmail thinks it is a mail folder and asks the server to open it. Of course, there is not such folder so the server returns an error. So while the imap account works 100%, every refresh yields and error box: Error while getting folder information. Unable to get information about folder ~/mail. The server replied: Mailbox isn't selectable Choice to continue or cancel? (Continue or cancel what?) Error is harmless and non-functional but repeats and repeats -- a royal pain! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Simply run kmail with (local) imap account 2. Manual or automatic mail check 3. Bingo! Clock either choice and read your mail Actual Results: Error box described above: Error while getting folder information. Unable to get information about folder ~/mail. The server replied: Mailbox isn't selectable Mail is OK. Expected Results: Normal program operation -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
