As I had problems with Akonadi overall after upgrading to KDE 4.10, I just
deleted all Akonadi and Nepomuk data and started over. At first attempt when

P.S. I am now on RC3 of 4.10 and with nepomuk enabled the bug immediately rears
its ugly head again. Switch off Nepomuk and presto. Blindingly fast Kmail2
again.
