First of all, I appreciate your quick help. Was OpenSSH on the Solaris box configured with the krb5 patch, and --with-kerberos ? Can you tell me more about krb5 patch? Is this patch downloadable from openssh.com or sun.com? And, I can see --with-kerberos4=PATH option, but --with-kerberos

OpenSSH w/ Kerberos via PAM on Solaris 8

Hello all, I'm trying to configure OpenSSH v2.9p2 to authenticate via Kerberos 5. I would like to have everything go through PAM instead of compiling krb5 support into openssh. My setup is as follows: -Solaris 8 in 32 bit mode -OpenSSH v2.9p2 (configured with-pam disable-suid-ssh) -Sun
