64 Bit. As best as I can tell, OpenBSD on Ultrasparc doesn't
support a 32 bit userland at all. (Someone please correct me
if I'm wrong.)
I guess we'll just change platforms and try again in a 32 bit
environment.

Dear All
I have set up a kerberised service on a Linux platform, but I ideally don't
want to run the service daemon as root. What do I need to do in order to
allow a non-root user to run this daemon and successfully test incoming
service tickets via GSSAPI?
Thanks all in anticipation.

Hi again,
Sorry for the 2nd email. This only seems to happen on linux-sparc. If I
compile on an X86 machine its OK.
Also when I compile samba with krb5 there's a compile error on line 2064 of
krb5.h. It doesn't like "profile_t *", changing it to "void *" fixes it. I
dont know if this will caus
Hi,
I've been testing a kerberos & samba combo to get kerberos authentication
going for our domain but i've run into a little snag.
Kerberos compiles and works perfectly - its only when samba tries to link
with the kerberos libraries that I have problems. Here's the errors I get:

As others have indicated, it works pretty well on little-endian
platforms, but on big-endian platforms th
Is this with a 64-bit or 32-bit compilation environment?
We know we've got problems on 64-bit sparc configurations, most likely
in the GSS-API layer, and this error has been seen before on 64-bit
HPUX platforms too.

We know there are 64-bit problems with the RPC library on big endian
architectures. I suggest building kadmin and kadmind as 32-bit
applications and running in compatibility mode.

Yes, in kadmin and/or kadmind code, are you people have some patches
or ideas where or what is wrong in the code? I will like to test it
again on sparc64/So
