Kerberos time is in UTC. It will not matter
Firstly... Please don't use telnet. It's just bad. Use the ssh-krb5
package instead.

You seem to have done everything correctly so far. I don't know if
you've installed the
libpam-krb5 package. If not, that may the problem. You should add the
following lines
to the following files;
