Hi,
I'm reading documentation about Kerberos, NFS and getting this stuff
together working but I'm a bit questionning myself about a particular
situation.
I have workstations in dualboot, Windows is attached to an Active
Directory and an Ubuntu with user authentication on Active Directory
doma
All messages generated by krb5kdc and kadmin are being logged twice, one
right after the other in their respective log files. Weird, huh?
kdc.conf snippet:
[logging]
default = FILE:/var/log/krb5libs.log
kdc = FILE:/var/log/krb5kdc.log
admin_server = FILE:/var/log/kadmind.log
Milton hasn't had a chance to get back to the list on this -- but
the problem is most likley that the overrun isn't 70 some bytes,
it is more than 730 bytes -- I'd make the pad 800 bytes at least ---
I haven't looked, but this same call may be made elsewhere as well...
Not entirely true.
Most LDAP servers now support the SASL/GSSAPI mechanism. It uses Kerberos
V5 credentials to authenticate users against LDAP directories. This will
not require users to change passwords. For data privacy, use SSL.

Do i have to use klogin or is there a PAM-solution

As i'm relativly new to kerberos, especially

I'd like to know how it's configured best (

PS: I used LDAPv3-HOWTO.html from Turbo Fredrikson
( http://www.bayour.com ) as guide how to work
with LDAP/KERBEROS/SASL.
I just can recommend it to everyone.
