I'm trying to set-up kerberos on Solaris 8 using the precompiled stuff from sun. I have it working on other machines on my network but I have compiled it on each of those. (I'm trying to use more default configurations to make it easier to deploy new servers.)
Same krb5.conf on all machines, and I'm getting the following error when I try to use kadmin so I can add the machine and make a key file. kadmin: Client/server realm mismatch in initial ticket request while initializing kadmin interface but it doesn't seem to be requesting anything from the kdc, as there is nothing in the logs. any suggestions on what I should be checking, or do I just compile krb5 and wonder why nothing works when I try it the "easy way".
