Might be related to the radeon HD audio device. I have Radeon HD 5000
graphics card with HDMI output and the audio works quite ok with alsa,
but jackd gives tons of xruns, no matter what period/buffer settings I
try. This BUG could be the reason for that. I'm getting this:

Don't know why udev rules doesn't work every time.
BTW, you can add a file under /etc/modprobe.d/ to automatically remove
hid_generic
$ cat /etc/modprobe.d/hid-rmi.conf
install hid_rmi rmmod hid_generic ; modprobe --ignore-install hid_rmi

I was too quick about the restart. Blacklisting hid_generic causes the
touchscreen to be non functional.
But after rmmod hid_generic, rmmod hid_rmi, modprobe hid_rmi all is well.
