is that Canonical did not obtain the same (non-transferable) distributor

on my new Acer TravelMate P253 notebook, Ubuntu desktop 14.04 looses the
keyboard after suspend/resume, thus leaving me locked out of my session, since
I can't input the password to unlock!

on my new Acer TravelMate P253 notebook with Ubuntu 14.04 desktop, the touchpad
is working OK for normal operations (moving and tapping), but it never scrolls
when I slide vertically on its right side (where two arrows clearly show that

on my new Acer TravelMate P253 notebook, with ubuntu 14.04 desktop I can't
modify LCD screen brghtness: by pressing the normal key combination for this
function (Fn+Left / Fn+Right) the screen brightness applet correctly shows up
on the screen, and its level correctly
