In short, you need to enable the UVC_QUIRK_PROBE_DEF quirk by following
these steps:
1. Unplug your webcam
2. Unload the uvcvideo module (sudo rmmod uvcvideo)
3. Reload the module wit

Hi Timo, can you update the bug description with the SRU template? Also I'd
like to know why removing the abort() call makes sense, because in the 1.7-1
version that call is still present. Is the abort() call the right way to handle
that code path?

@Tim - This was noticed at a meeting room that I don't go to very often.
I will do my best. It should be noted that arges who was running Utopic
was also seeing the same issue on his T420. (I'm not sure what specific
kernel version that was though).

Bug still manifest in kernel 3.16-RC1. Unable to obtain text of kernel
panic but call trace referenced radeon_drm_ioctl.
This time the firmware loading reported success, panic happened a few
