Resuming after suspend I get o

I use Dell Precision T7500 machine.
My computer is suspended automatically.
When I push the power button to wake up the machine, I get only black screen.
I can't switch to another tty, probably, although I cannot confirm because of
the black screen.

Problem was replicated while trying to "boot" the live Desktop in my
iMac G4 800 Mhz w/1GB RAM . . . identical "claim error" and "invalid
device" responses as with the iBook. Couldn't get the iMac registered
with QA because the Xubuntu/Lubuntu 12.04 system "could not find gist" .

Ok, I've changed my default boot kernel to come back to the kernel
3.2.0.29 (Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS april 2017) and it works fine, it's less
expensive than change the card ;-)
The problem is since the kernel 3.13 (Ubuntu 12.04.5)

BTW, if there's any way to try Compiz with bisection, from my past
ubuntu testing over the years since Compiz was introduced, Compiz code
has a lot of hardware dependencies

file "Kernel R17 Terminal Output.txt". These were substantially the
same as during the 14.04.1 upgrade (oem-ethernet, oem-wireless plus 1 or
2 others) and also the same as the upgrade to my mythtv pc. Similar
