works, bluetooth doesn't. When wifi is enabled, however, CPU load of

I've bisected the differences from Ubuntu stock kernel and pf4+ kernel
configuration and I've found that the error is triggered by tue
CONFIG_SCHED_AUTOGROUP setting. Fortunately it can be disabled at boot
time adding the noautogroup parameter to grub.

with number 2, more then two years ago.. so sure can work even now!

It looks like the disconnections are initiated by NetworkManager, which
gives the reason 'ip-config-unavailable'. Maybe some kind of dhcp
problem, I'm not sure. Right now it isn't looking like a driver problem
but something higher in the stack, so I'm updating the bug to affect
network manager so

Hey guys, i'm on gigabyte u2442n and stopped using ubuntu a couple of
month ago because of this bug (mainly use touchpad b/c travelling). Do I
understand correctly that kubuntu 14.04 and newer or 3.16 seem to have a
fix for this issue? Would love to switch again.

Answering my own question: Turns out the old psmouse was in the
initramfs so running update-initramfs -u -k all and rebooting fixed it.
Also attempting to answer lohith's question: You have re-install the
driver for every new kernel until support is added upstream. Just repeat
the dkms commands,
SRSI Support was added to the upstream kernel in November 2013. The
Ubuntu Trusty kernels got this support for 'free'.
Checked the source code for Trusty to verify it was there:
