I have this problem since I have this PC (2011-12-03), i.e. I always
have to hibernate before I can suspend to RAM with all Ubuntu releases
since 11.10. I also tried the procedure described in
DebuggingKernelSuspend in the past and tried to remove various kernel
modules but without success.

It would appear this has always been the case, and probably is not a
bug. We will work around it in lxc.
I think what is happening is: in pivot_root, the new root is mounted
over the struct path of the previous current-fs-root (using
attach_mnt). Since current-fs-root after a chroot was not
