Bug descript
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error on your system when
trying to install a particular package. Please execute the following
command, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal:
sudo apt-get clean
Then try
I use a Maxtor OneTouch 250GB, and can confirm the previous reports:
even an fsck that returns "clean" (ext3 partition inside) is followed by 2
errors like:
end_request: critical target error, dev sdX, sector 0
Any subsequent fsck turns off the journal and finds many previously non
existent err

Title:
kvm_intel (nested) module will not load [Input/output error]
I believe that this issue is also affecting me. I've uploaded error
reports via the error reporter, but I'm unsure how to associate them
with this bug report.
I have followed the directions to use a newer mainline kernel and it
*seems* to have resolved the issue for me. What are the issues with
cool, I've updated the troy branch and installed the new kernel module.
I'm still having the connection on&off issue, some pings over 2000ms as well
like before.
The system freeze happens on module reload so I'll make some time to try to
reproduce the problem and post an image.

You received
Hibernation: usually after pm-hibernate (or echo disk >
/sys/power/state ) it was possible to see the progress of writing resume
image to the disk on the console. In this case no such activity
appeared. The time between command and shutdown was also a bit too
short to dump a few GB to disk.
