Red LED took longer than normal to turn "off".
Then it went off, and didn't blink like in sleep mode.

Hi there, Christopher. I just tried that kernel. It's reading as:
4.0.0-04rc4-generic via uname -r.
Same deal in this case as before. Suspend on lid close does not work,
but selecting suspend from the gear menu in the upper right successfully
suspends the laptop.

I found the solution to the problem thank to a post on a blog of which I don't
remeber the name. The solution is disable the the "WMM (Wi-fi Multi-Media)"
from the router. This option can be found on the QoS menĂ¹ of the router.
I'm not sure if it can be considered a bug of Ubuntu...

I also encounter the same problem on 14.04 LTS. With 10+ windows open,
the system becomes frozen unexpectedly. Once it's frozen, it either
becomes totally unresponsive such that nothing works except for the
long-press power button or minimally responsive so that I can shift to
terminal using CTRL+A
