v4.1-rc3-unstable kernel it was as if the wireless card just wasn't
detected at all. No sign of it in the network manager and no option to
enable wi-fi.
There were some messages about iwlwifi firmware that appeared very

the other issue affects the xorg driver.
The problem described here is still valid for me on Ubuntu 14.04. Can

didn't work, -34 worked too. Ubuntu 14.04.
