@jrp Could you indicate with which commits did you exactly tested the
bug on your side? I understand from jsalisbury that the base for the
current kernel is the master-next branch. He applied the patches
mentioned in his earlier post to that kernel. Are we missing any other
commits?
Another issue
Public bug reported:
I have a lenovoE540 laptop with a r8169 wired onboard ethernet. When
the computer is started, ethernet works fine for about 20-30 minutes.
After that network stops working.
dmesg shows that initially the link is up and stays up:

I think I have been lucky in getting things working on the first try. I have
now booted into:
$ uname -a
Linux thorne-ul-dt 4.1.0-040100rc5-generic #201505250235 SMP Mon May 25
02:37:02 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I'll keep an eye on things and see if I can repeat the problem or not
