Trying from work today on via google chrome on a windows box, can't seem to
log a ticket through launch pad, even though I have a valid login. I'm
guessing I need log a ticket through my Ubuntu machine via terminal
commands only?
I've never logged a new bug before - new to this.

for a long time i've also got such kernel issues: in fact booting was
failing each time the first time (was affected many kernels accross a
year or so) with various crash messages.
And finally i've found that these issues was due to ram voltage set too low by
the default bios setting.
