I'm having similar problems on my Dell XPS 13 9343 running 15.10 with
4.5.0-040500rc6-generic.
I've ran 2 FullHD displays daisy-chained to the miniDP of the notebook, both
monitors switched to DP 1.2. This lead to flickering. I since then dropped that
configuration and run a single display set

We have a number of problematic depends/conflicts/replaces/breaks etc
which are versioned against things which no longer exist etc. These
should be reaped before release to make the apt resolvers life simpler.

I will check this, but its not a solution for me and my users to lower
the screen resolution to avoid flickering.
Btw. today with Kernel 4.5 i also had flickering but there were no
messages in dmesg.

added the kern.log file to this comment with information starting from

no more new information in the kern.log file and I had to perform a hard

I'm using Ubuntu 15.10 with kernel version 4.3.0 on a dell xps13 9350.
I still have the problem of usb-c/thunderbolt to ethernet adapter: It works if

I remeber that when I was installing Unbuntu

+ [Impact]
+ It is possible to have vcpu->arch.st.last_steal initialized

vcpu threads sched_info.run_delay).

Confirmed still present in 4.5-rc5.

I'll try.
Problem is that it's not happening every time. If I suspend and resume a moment
later, it usually still works.
And I cannot just run on the newest kernel all the time, because it's my main
work machine and I need Virtualbox guests to work.
Stand by :)

I'm not sure I understand. I'm totally fine with waiting for 16.04 if the issue
is solved in that release. But why would that make this bug invalid?
Also, since you're asking for a backport, did you identify the cause of the
bug?
And, let's not forget ;) Thank you Christopher for helping me.
