I have a fresh installation of the 16.04 daily built from yesterday.
I have had freezes on 4.4rc1 and 4.4 release.
If I am correct I also had it on 4
The exact same thing happens to me when plugging in my OnePlus One phone
into the computer. I'm on Arch Linux x64. I've got both VMWare and
Virtualbox installed on the computer.

@kgunn: it looks like you're enabling the pairing mode on your BT
keyboard again (long press of the connect button) in your video. If that
is the case the keyboard will erase its part of the pairing where the
phone will still keep its part. If the phone now tries to reconnect the
connection simply
i915_bpo is tracking 4.6, and 4.4.0-17 has essentially the same driver
as 4.6-rc1. Does reverting that commit fix it? Also, you could try
booting with 'i915.enable_psr=1' to actually use PSR, which should be
stable on SKL now, assuming X is using the intel driver.

It looks like I spoke too soon - I have now had two failures with the
mainline 4.5.0 kernel booted from the Samsung HD103UJ drive. The first
of these booted normally, but died when I tried an apt-get update. The
second failed during boot, as most have in the past. So it seems that

Believe it or not bug still persists on Ubuntu 14.04, have "device
descriptor read/8, error -32" errors all over and it does work as
described here, if i plug the device again.

I tested 3.13.0-34 for 24 hours and it did not exhibit the bug. This
would indicate the bug was introduce between -34 and -35. There are
only three commits between these two versions:

Wladimir Mutel, testing 4.4.0-16 (downstream kernel) doesn't it make it
that you should re-contact upstream.
Instead, you would want to test the latest upstream kernel first (now
4.6-rc2), and advise to the results here.

I have just tested with the latest Ubuntu 16.04 beta2. It worked after I
manually added board-2.bin from kvalo's git and reloaded the ath10k_pci
module. On my 2.4GHz network it has shown unbelievable download speed of
around 85-90 Mbit! I use ath9k card on my home server, btw. I'm
impressed!

I've got a Skylake Dell XPS 13 9350 with the very latest bios from a
couple days ago (1.3.3), and the bug still happens on this mach
I can confirm this issue on a Intel NUC6i5SYH, Iris Graphics 540 with kernel
4.4.6-300.fc23.x86_64 (exact same symptoms, logs ...). I bet a whole lot of
people must be affected ...
Is this driver supported by Intel themselves or the community?

After installing ubuntu 14.04., the touchpad doesn't respond. I have tried to
use the pointer by connecting an external mouse, and it works. After executing
