Still using 4.7.0-994-generic. It again isn't freezing. And hasn't in several weeks. That's not to say that there is not still a problem there, but it's the best kernel i've tested so far (other than the old 3.16). I think i only had freeing problems when my CPU was hot and my fan was running high.
