[Dell Inc. Latitude E5470] suspend/resume failure
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Public bug reported:
To generate the crash:
1) Suspend the system (e.g. choose suspend from the top menu).
2) At any point, unplug the cord (the bug happens if I unplug at any point
after suspend, even if I then replug before I resume)
3) Try to resume (pressing power button). Computer reboots.
Any more ideas? Please? I'm about to throw my notebook against wall
every time I use it at home - which is 90% of the time.

compressed kernels. The attached patch adds that support. Note. amd64

@mike:
> if you don't think this is the right bug I can open another one or
something,
This is not the right bug report, and we need to get off it before others start
to complain.
However, it isn't time to open a new one yet, in my opinion, because we don't
yet know what to file it against.

Screen flickering is happening in 4.4.0-53 now as well, but much much
less often.
I can try earlier versions but this was never an issue in earlier
kernels.

@taihsiang,
I'd like you to try 2 things:
1. Install the same kernel just like you did and if you have the same
failure power the system off and then back on and see if you still have
the problem.
2. Test with the lts-xenial kernel and see if you have the same issue.
