I had the same problem after a suspend/resume cycle => bluetooth was not
working with the message `hci0: Reading Intel version information failed
(-110)` in the syslog.

Dear all;
I had the same issue with Kubuntu 20.04LTS, yesterday and during the
installation the bluetooth was working perfectly on my Asus UX305ua
than, this morning, no bluetooth adapter found. I solved it by simply
plugin in (power supply) my laptop. It appear to be an issue with the
power manag
IMHO, shall we have a kernel boot parameter so that the script in the
initrd check and decide what to load and/or parameter to added.
If that's too much work, maybe put that as a long-term goal.

device with the same Ubuntu (20.10) but with an older 5.4.0-65-generic
kernel.

I've also tried booting a live USB with the latest alpha version from
21.04, based on kernel 5.8.0-36-generic, and the results are the same:
no sound card detected, "Dummy Output" displayed in Sound Settings. See
attached archive with same logs (dmesg, pactl, alsa-info).
