I can confirm this bug as well. When I using Linux Mint with kernel
5.15.0-47 other Ubuntu and Mint machines will crash. I get back kernel
5.15.0-46 and anything works well.

I encountered the problem with kernel 6.0.0-rc3 on a lenovo t470 laptop
and a usb3 axis card. The system was started with the parameter
intel_idle.max_cstate=1 and this appears to affect the possibility of

Sorry, NOT FIXED. I updated to 5.15.0-47-generic and removed file
/etc/modprobe.d/rtw88_pci.conf that contained the setting
options rtw88_pci disable_aspm=1
and my laptop promptly froze. Sanity restored by putting the

Found the problem. My company forces us to install McAfee on our
computers (which I hate, but that's for another discussion). McAfee
blocks write access to /boot. I fixed the issue by momentarily stopping
McAfee, doing the upgrade, and restarting McAfee.
