As described above. With the last BIOS-updates Lenovo enabled proper S3
deep sleep mode for Linux. Sadly the touchscreen doesn't work after
resuming. There are a lot of others facing the same problem:

Since last upgrades the screen orientation of the internal monitor of my
Thinkpad X1 Yoga does no longer change even if I turn the laptop around.
