I switched to linux-image-generic-lts-wily (4.2.0-23-generic) kernel.
Everything seems to work for the moment, but now the driver complains
about the firmware beeing to new:

I have a Supermicro AOC-STG-i4S quad port card

the Intel XL710 chip.
With the standard Trusty 3.13 kernel and the included i40e module version
