But backlight dims slowly.
System has same behavior on 3.16-r3
Suspect that dim behavior is the hardware/BIOS issue.

each of them can fix this bug.
Since upstream is going to change the default for video.use_native_backlight to

If Ethernet cable is plugged, this issue can be reproduced on 3.2.0-61.
Following 3 conditions can avoid this issue.
1. Removed NIC driver (atl1c)
2. Disable NIC from BIOS
3. Unplug Ethernet cable

Verified this bug on Ubuntu 12.04 (3.11.0-15-generic), this issue is
I test the kernel image -
"linux-image-3.13.0-28-generic_3.13.0-28.51_amd64.deb".
I can't find hp-wireless.ko after installation.
So I install linux-image-3.13.0-28-generic_3.13.0-28.51~precise1_amd64.deb.
The wireless key works fine on this image.
