If the fix is found in the upstream kernel, is it going to be available in the
stable kernel for 16.04 anytime soon?
Because with the upstream kernel , I have other issues (some display corruption
and the openafs kernel module)

The computer froze just after (or while) resuming from hibernate. (the
desktop was there but everything frozen).
Actually, thinking about it, I think the last time I had hibernation
working was on Ubuntu 14.04.
