I've successfully confirmed that the mount issues seem to be fixed using
systemd from focal-proposed. Using the 'rep-tmpfs.sh' script, all
variants ran without any issues for multiple rounds. Basic testing on a
VM also looks good. Below are the versions used for this test:

As this will need fixing in the development release, I'll re-subscribe
the ubuntu-sponsors team. After this has been fixed there, we can take a
look at the SRU for the other stable releases.

from my personal PPA (as the systemd patches aren't yet available in
focal-proposed).

@pponnuvel stat(2) doesn't perform a read(2) on the file, so it won't
call the show() method for priority_stats (which was the problematic
call for this specific sysfs attribute).
In any case, this should be fixed in all supported Ubuntu series, so
even read(2) shouldn't be an issue anymore. Pleas
