I have a bluetooth mouse that I can get to connect via the gnome
bluetooth settings panel, but even after it's connected it doesn't move
the pointer or register any clicks.

Occasionally the screen will blank and all windows move from the
external monitor to the laptop monitor. Relatively immediately
afterward both screens re-enable, but the windows don't move back to the
external monitor.
This usually appears to be triggered by a specific
sudo wpa_cli suspend before suspend still leaves me unable to resume.

I have replicated this bug on multiple machines with different audio
chipsets and even tried an external USB sound card. I've replicated it
on different flavours of Ubuntu and even on Linux Mint.
The only common factor in all of my tests is the 3.13.0-66 kernel.
32bit X86 is not affected.

shutdown doesn't power down the machine -- the screen blacks, but the
apple light stays on and need to force power off by holding down the

I suspect there's two issues here with very similar symptoms. In
particular post #8 which mentions people reporting that 3.14 improves
the situation.

I've added the apport-collect on my desktop, I won't be able to install
the development version. Currently I still am having an issue with xorg
but it's slightly different. The issue when this started was it
freezing and needing to reboot (or kill and restart lightdm). I changed

I can confirm I'm seeing this behavior using a usb soundcard since
upgrading from Precise to Trusty, it was not evident in Precise

cpu being used in kworker thread, similar to

disabling the gpe16 interrupt restores cpu idleness, and the
adding linux as stack trace references cfg80211 module code
