Dell XPS 13 9350 upgraded from 16.04 to 18.04 had the same problem.
Used solution provided by Alex on post #10 and it's fine now.

I'm also affected by this bug.
Same model, same Ubuntu ver. updated today, and I tried with kernel
4.6.0-040600rc2-generic without result.
