I'll do the test you asked, thanks for the suggestion. I've installed Ubuntu 15.04 (at the moment running kernel 4.2.0-35-generic) and this bug was NOT present; there seems there is some kind of regression. Will go on with investigation with mainline kernel and update. Thanks for your help. --
