Kernel panic in tpm_ functions when booting kernel 5.3 in Ubuntu 19.10
(but 5.2 works)
Status
Same issue on Dell Latitude 7390. I cannot deactivate TPM since the UEFI is
password locked.
Also kernel 5.3.0-10-generic installed.

5.3.0-10 crashes immediately in init_tis -> ... -> tpm_init -> ... ->
tpm_tis_core_init.cold -> ... (never boots)

Hi,
I upgraded to Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine (development branch). This included a
kernel update to 5.3.0-10. With this kernel ubuntu does not boot any more.
Fortunately it boots with the old kernel 5.0.0-29. In the attachment there is a
picture of the failing boot process.
