I don't know who sets the priority on bugs. But having this set as a medium
priority means that Ubuntu isn't ready for the enterprise desktop.
Maybe it's not even your audience. But I can't used this OS as a Desktop for
work purposes.

Thank for the quick response. I have now built an OpenStack image with
this kernel,
ubuntu@node-3-9dettelsau:~$ grep IPIP /boot/config-4.4.0-1034-kvm
CONFIG_NET_IPIP=y
ubuntu@node-3-9dettelsau:~$ uname -r
4.4.0-1034-kvm
ubuntu@node-3-9dettelsau:~$

discussion and consideration are needed.

Hi,
I am having the same issue, with Kernel 3.14.1 from the Kernel PPA on Ubuntu
14.04.
My Laptop is Lenovo IdeaPad u330p (Sold in Germany via Amazon).
I also can't use the latest firmware version iwlwifi-7260-ucode-22.212.9.0,
which won't load using this Kernel.
Hopefully we see some improve
