Suffering from weak rtl8723be wifi signal and new to proposed updates. What I have done: 1. Make sure there are no more updates from non-propopsed sources (main, universe). 2. Enable proposed updates in GUI (this updates package list automatically). 3. back to command-line (just to feel safe): $
