Hmm, I think this has happened from 13.04 and still does in 13.10.
Just a note, you recommend to test 3.12 and then later link to 3.13.
I am now running 3.13 rc2 and will report back as soon as I've had a
suspend crash/reboot again.

Every time my computer runs out of battery while being in suspend OR
crashes after resume from suspend (black screen, won't start properly)
the system runs painfully slow.
I can demonstrate this by running a very simple benchmark with cat
/dev/urandom.
First result: After a

extension cord I was using. When using another type, the camera works
much better.
