I'm having the same problem on a ThinkPad T410si with an RTL8191SE.
What in the end helped me to get around this problem was to set the
driver options to disable both software level and firmware level
powersaving - the problem has virtually gone away.

I'm not sure if I have the same issue. In particular, I could not find this
error in my dmesg:

My macbook pro 8.1 13-inch really has 3 speakers: left, right and so called (by
Apple) subwoofer - standalone additional speaker, which is located on the

sounds differently from the right one. I would describe left speaker's sound as

Well, hda-analyzer tool running in monitor mode shows that volume level of Bass
speaker changes while moving corresponding sliders (left and right) in
alsamixer, but those changes affect only right channel.

I understood that this crash was related to efivarfs auto mount in
kernel 3.9. Kernel 3.10 and 3.11 doesn't do it automatically, that leads
to successful boot. But manual attempt to mount efivarfs in these
versions of kernel also leads to system crash.
