Dear Stefano, I think the problem is there is no appropriate driver in the Linux kernel for the 1.50 firmware, and the installed webcam has that firmware. I'm trying now to recompile the 4.17.rc1 kernel with the patch I mention in #2. I will try this patched kernel and see if the webcam works.
