Chris, I made a Saucy (Ubuntu 13.10 daily) Live boot USB flash drive from the 64-bit ISO ownloaded from /daily-live/current. Unfortunately it did not fair well. It booted up to Unity, but from there the mouse pointer and Unity itself were locked up or unresponsive. The only thing I did find

One quick addition to me previous post - the BIOS update website given in a previous post, says the latest BIOS is A05 7/8/2013 while on my XPS 18, dmidecode says A05 06/04/2013 I downloaded the one dated 7/8/2013 and ran it, but as I suspected, the installer says my computer with BIOS A05
