A workaround for Ubuntu 15.04 is to add a new service to systemd which
reloads the module after suspend:
sven@:/etc/systemd/system$ more touchscreen.service
[Unit]
Description=Restore touchscreen after suspend
After=suspend.target
[Service]
Type=simple
ExecStartPre=/sbin/modprobe -r hid_multitouc
Regretfully initiating suspend via:
sudo sh -c "sync && echo 1 > /sys/power/pm_trace && pm-suspend"
... does not suspend the computer, it seems to wake up immediately.
Suspending the computer via Gnome plugin or closing the lid results in a
failed suspend.

I've done some tests:
- it doesn't matter which port I plug in the mobile wifi - suspend will fail
- if the mobile wifi is turned off, suspend works fine (no suprise here)
- plugging in my usb stick, doesn't have a negative effect
- plugging in my external hard drive, doesn't have a negative effect

With Gnome Ubuntu 15.10 suspend/resume works like a charm, *unless* I
plug in my Huawei E586 mobile Wifi.
Note that the mobile device is connected for charging only. Although it
reports in dmesg as "USB Mass Storage", I'm not using it for storage nor
can I access it via nauti
I've switched to Gnome Ubuntu 15.04 and suspend works reliably now.
Although I don't know why the kernel changes didn't take effect in
14.10, they seem to have fixed the problem now.

Sorry, I didn't thought the kernel would matter, since up till now all
are affected.
I've upgraded to kernel 4.0.0 final now, and will provide the missing

As a matter of fact, resume from suspend worked fine here on two
different Lenovo Yogas for two weeks now.
I don't know why the problem showed up intermittently, but Kernel 3.19
seems to have fixed it in the long run already.

After further testing I cannot confirm a fix either by installing kernel 3.18
nor by installing the latest rtlwifi_new as suggested in #55.
After 20 to 30 minutes of surfing the wifi connection is still shown as active
in Gnome status, but no data is coming through.
