This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has
changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if
this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report
against it and we will take it from there.

I can't confirm about espeak, or about skype as in bug #361615, but i affected
by this bug in my own apps using Portaudio lib. The same error flood and 20
secs delay arrives even with this simplest test program:

I just see that you have 32x OS. Ihave 32x too. Maybe thats the problem?
Bluez-alsa depends on...ia32libs multyarch!
I think i don't need that libs, because i don't use 64x programs. I hope that
will fix my problem. :)

Any fix for this? This also affects me (using saucy x64) when using
multiple many sound applications (lmms, audacity, mixxx...).
Uninstalling bluetooth support for ALSA is not an option because I daily
use sound over bluetooth. Please fix.
