headers.

That commit appears to still be in the latest mainline and Saucy kernel.
Can you test these kernels to see if the bug exists there as well? It
would be good to know if we need to revert this in just Raring, or if

I have symptoms of the failure: the same Windows instance under KVM has
disconnected from the network. I tried logging onto Windows using the
VMM console window and the wait cursor is spinning. The dmesg log file
doesn't contain any traces of the put_page issue or any

the kernel with commit 509384a reverted for a longer period of time? I
don't think you were able to reproduce the bug with that kernel, and
that may be the commit that introduced this bug.

There were two observed guest types which lost networking: Ubuntu 12.10

After dropping back to 3.8.0-27, reinstalling nvidia-310 and repairing
Unity, the error happened again. One of the Windows VMs loses its
network connection. When I attempt to shut the VM down (from within
Windows Server 2012), it freezes during shutdown. I am then unable to
stop the VM, not even wi
I installed the 3.11 kernel dated 201308070514.
I had problems with:
- NVIDIA driver: was using nvidia-310, but "no suitable driver" for the newer
kernel
- Unity: wouldn't come up
- KVM: didn't come up (machine is mainly a host for VMs)
I dropped back to 3.8.0-27 and am trying to repair Unity so
