I started a kernel bisect betweenUbuntu-3.2.0-53.81 and

Ah, so the CurrentDmesg.txt produced by apport shows the correct
detection under 3.2.0-53.81 since that's what needed to run for me to
have a working keyboard to file the report. And the extra attachment at
the top is an older dmesg output (gzipped) from last Sunday when I was
