I am experiencing the same symptoms after upgrading from 13.04 to 13.10. When I select HDMI as my output sound source video and audo appear to play in fast forward. When using analog sound everything appears to work correctly. This was working correctly in 13.04. -- You received this bug notifi

I can confirm that. Choosing other audio output than HDMI immediately makes video playback normal. It is strange that removing the "radeon.audio=1" parameter and updating GRUB, still after reboot Pulseaudio shows HDMI audio output even though it is disabled by default as far as I know. -- You rec
