I do not think using a different driver is a true workaround. Like I
said, nothing's perfect and it turns out the nVidia drivers are no
different; I have other bugs with these and need to patch some of them,
but it's always a pain to manage. That is something nVidia will

Jagat, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any
activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If
so, could you please test for this with the latest development release

Hi issue seems with nouveau driver.
I started using Nvidia driver i don't see this now in syslog.

Jagat, I confirm that, it is with nouveau driver not nvidia proprietary.
I used nouveau and had the issue. Installed only nvidia package, the 331, and
issue is gone. I cannot see how it would be related to nouveau driver, so far.
