It does! Also the CPU max frequency is now back to 2.4GHz after
unplug/replug cycle.

I downloaded Ubuntu 10.04.04 iso image but "Startup Disk Creator"
crashes when trying to create a live USB image. I am running it on
Ubuntu 13.10.

created a non-bootable USB image.
I tried unetbootin tool to create a USB boot image and the computer
started booting from the USB key but the bootup process never finished.
