Joe, I tested with the latest mainline kernel as of 3/25
(b098d6726bbfb94c06d6e1097466187afddae61f) and can still reproduce this exact
issue. It looks like its an upstream issue as well:

I have also hit this with a webcam. I think you should probably file a
new bug for it though.
